After Kolkata, gang rape in Jodhpur hospital, a girl who ran away from home was brutally raped
The incidents of rape of minor girls in Jodhpur, Rajasthan are bringing shame. In the last 20 days, four incidents of rape of minor girls have taken place in the city. The latest case is related to the incident of gang rape of a minor girl. A 14-year-old girl who left her house in anger was gang-raped in the city's Mahatma Gandhi Hospital premises. In the initial investigation, three people were involved in the rape case, one of whom is said to be a minor. It has come to light that one of the accused is a former employee of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
The incident happened on the night of 25th August. Two miscreants raped a 14-year-old girl near the cottage ward of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur. ACP Anil Kumar of Jodhpur Police Commissionerate West informed that the minor victim's missing report was registered in the Sursagar Police Station area. The girl had left her home after getting angry with her parents.
According to the victim's family, the girl got angry after being scolded at home and went out. When she did not return for a long time, a complaint was lodged with the police. It is alleged that the girl reached near Mahatma Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night. Meanwhile, two cleaning staff at the hospital took the girl to a hut in a secluded area of the hospital premises. She was taken there and gang-raped. After committing the crime, the accused fled. The police got information about the incident.
The incident of gang rape of a girl on the hospital premises created a stir. The victim was admitted to the hospital. A medical examination has been done. The FSL team has been called to the scene. All evidence is being collected. The victim's statement has been taken. Police teams have been formed to catch the accused. Police claim that the accused will be arrested soon. Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Superintendent Fateh Singh Bhati says that information has been received about the gang rape of a girl on the hospital premises. Such an incident is very shameful. He said that security guards were present in the hospital. But more security guards will be increased given security.
This is the fourth case of rape of a minor in Jodhpur in the last 1 month. An incident of rape of an 11-year-old girl had come to light. After this, a 3-year-old girl from a nomad family was raped, in which the accused left the girl on the road in a bloody condition after raping her. Two days after the incident, a case of attempted rape of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl also came to light. Only a week had passed when again a gang rape incident of a 16-year-old girl has come to light in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital of Jodhpur.
