Frauded 300 crores from people by forming a company… bought luxury cars and land, told the police a shocking plan
A gang in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, formed a chit fund company and duped people of crores of rupees. The gang's cunning criminals had spread their network in different districts of the state. The police have arrested the mastermind of the gang. A reward of Rs 35,000 has been announced for him. The police have recovered luxury cars worth more than Rs 2 crore from the accused's possession.
Lalitpur Thana Kotwali Police, Cyber Crime Police Station, and SWAT Team have arrested Ravi Tiwari, the mastermind who duped people of crores of rupees by forming a chit fund company named LUCC. Police have recovered expensive Mercedes, Fortuner, and Hyundai Alcazar vehicles worth more than two crores and important documents related to the company from the possession of the accused. According to the police, the accused used to dupe people of money by preparing fake documents through a gang in a conspiracy.
Ravi Shankar Tiwari, the mastermind of the fraud of crores of rupees by creating a fake chit fund company, is a resident of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, the victims of fraud had lodged complaints in this matter at Lalitpur Police Station Kotwali. Police said that the accused Ravi Tiwari, Jagat Singh, Alok Jain, etc. had formed an organized gang and created a chit-fund company named LUCC for their financial gain.
With the help of fake documents the company, cheated various people and took their money. When the aggrieved customers asked for their money back, they started abusing and threatening to kill them.
On the complaints of the people, the police had registered a case and earlier arrested 8 accused of the gang. These included Neeraj Jain, Jagat Singh, Alok Jain, Rahul Tiwari, Ramnaresh Sahu, Dwarika Prasad Jha, Surendra Pal Singh and Mahesh Prasad Rajak. For this, a district-level SIT team was formed. The main accused of the gang, Ravi Tiwari, was absconding. A bounty of Rs 35,000 was announced on the accused for his arrest. The police have also arrested Ravi.
He joined a fake company during his 12th-standard studies
During police interrogation, accused Ravishankar Tiwari said that earlier his financial condition was not good. When he was studying in class 12th, he joined a company called Advantage through Alok Jain. Then through the same company, he started joining people in Advantage Company in Lalitpur by telling them about attractive and greedy schemes. Due to this, he started getting huge commissions, due to which his greed started increasing.
Ravi told the police that he had misled people into investing about 6 crore rupees in Advantage Company between 2009 and 2012 and earned a huge commission. When the time came to return the money of the people in this company, Sameer Agarwal shut down the company so that he would not have to return the money of the investors.
After that in 2012, Sameer Agarwal formed a company called Option One. In this, Ravi got people to invest around 50-60 crore rupees and earned a huge commission. When the time came to return people's money, Sameer Agarwal again closed this company in the year 2016.
LUCC Chitfund Company was later formed
After this, Sameer Agarwal formed a separate chit fund company named LUCC. He deliberately misused the Aadhaar cards and PAN cards of people from different states and gave them director and other important positions in this company. But the entire company was run by Sameer Agarwal and his people from Mumbai, Indore, Lucknow and other states and districts. In which Alok Jain and all his other associates used to organize seminars in expensive hotels.
They used to lure people there and take them abroad on a trip so that they could believe that their company is good. Expensive cars were also offered as a lure in the seminar. Information was given through this society that the invested amount would double in five years.
More than Rs 300 crore invested in the company
He used to tell people that the money invested in the society is invested in Gold Mines Advertisement Company, Iron Mine, Oil Well. The accused told that he established his network in Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Ashok Nagar, Jhansi and Vidisha of different states in different schemes. He got more than 300 crore rupees invested. Through this company, he bought cars and land in Lalitpur, Bhopal, Indore, etc. cities with crores of rupees.
