A man got his wife raped by 51 people for 10 years, a horrifying case in France

A rape case has come to light in France which has shocked not only France but the entire world. This case in France has also shamed the relationship between husband and wife. A French woman was given intoxicants by her husband by mixing them in her food for about a decade and after that, he called dozens of people home and the woman was raped.

Police said that 50-year-old Dominic Pellicot used to mix sleeping pills in his wife's food and drinks to make her sleep deeply and then rape her. After his wife got intoxicated, he used to call dozens of people from outside to rape his wife, this abuse continued for about a decade.

the woman had fallen ill

Due to constant drugging and rape, the woman's hair started falling out and she was losing weight. Her memory was deteriorating and she was forgetting things. Her children and friends thought the woman had Alzheimer's. But when she was called to a police station in southern France in late 2020, this shocking story came to light.

Police said that her 50-year-old husband Dominic Pellicot used to give her sedatives to put her into a deep sleep and he used to send dozens of people into her house to rape her. Police said that her husband also made a video of her rape.

51 people were prosecuted for raping a woman

Using photographs, videos, and online messages recovered from the husband, police identified and charged other suspects over nearly two years. 51 accused have been prosecuted for raping the woman. These 51 accused come from a variety of backgrounds, including truck drivers, soldiers, carpenters and trade workers, a prison guard, a nurse, an IT specialist working for a bank, and a local journalist. The accused are aged between 26 and 74 years and many have children and are in relationships.
