After threatening the Philippines and Taiwan, China is now preparing to threaten Japan. Japan has confirmed for the first time that a Chinese military aircraft has intruded into its territory. The Japanese Defense Ministry said that a Y-9 intelligence-gathering aircraft had entered Japan's airspace over the East China Sea.

Japan said that this plane was flying in the direction of Japan's island Kyusu. The ministry said that as soon as information was received about the intrusion of the Chinese plane, the Japanese Air Force planes came into action.

Japanese F-16 and F-35 fighter jets flying from several airbases surrounded the Chinese spy plane and sent radio messages to it not to come close to Japanese airspace. The Chinese spy plane began circling over the water southeast of Danjo Island in Goto City in the southwestern prefecture of Nagasaki at around 10:40 am.

Then, at around 11:29 a.m., it entered Japanese airspace about 22 kilometers east of the islands and stayed there for about two minutes. The Chinese spy plane exited Japanese airspace from the southeast part of the island at around 11:31 a.m. After that, it continued to circle the area. It headed toward mainland China at around 1:15 p.m.
