Detecting brain cancer will be easy, a drop of blood will give accurate information about the disease

Patients will no longer have to go through a painful procedure to detect brain cancer. Scientists have developed a new technique through which the fatal disease can be detected in just 60 minutes.

Brain cancer is a disease that has affected millions of people. However, this disease will soon be easily identified. Scientists have developed a technique through which brain cancer can be detected in just one hour by examining a drop of blood (blood test). This new technique has been called 'liquid biopsy'.

Earlier, to detect brain cancer, one had to undergo a complex and painful procedure like a surgical biopsy. But now scientists have developed a technique in which a small sample of blood is examined. Specific markers of brain cancer are searched for in this sample. If these markers are present, it means that the person may have brain cancer.

How does this technique work?

In this technique, scientists look for small particles called exosomes in the blood test. These exosomes come out of cancer cells and contain specific brain cancer markers. Scientists have developed a special type of chip that sticks to these markers. In this way, they are able to find out whether a person has brain cancer or not.

Advantages of this technique

* Fast and accurate: This technique is very fast and accurate. The blood test is completed in just one hour and its results are also very accurate.

* Less painful: This technique is much less painful than surgical biopsy. In this, only a small sample of blood has to be taken.

* Cheap: This technique is much cheaper than surgical biopsy.

Way forward

Scientists believe that this technique can bring a revolution in the treatment of brain cancer. Through this technique, brain cancer can be detected early and its treatment can also be started early. This will greatly increase the chances of survival of patients.
