UPI Circle Tips: More than one user with one account will have the right to make UPI payments, what is the UPI Circle feature..
In the digital era, every second user uses UPI (Unified Payments Interface) for payment. This method of payment through mobile phone is very easy. To further improve the payment experience with UPI, the National Payments Corporation of India has introduced a new feature. This feature has been named UPI Circle.
What is UPI Circle (UPI Circle Feature)
The National Payments Corporation of India has given information about the feature. The UPI Circle feature has been introduced keeping in mind those people who make cash payments for their daily needs and do not manage their accounts themselves. UPI Circle will prove to be useful for such people.
Any UPI user will be able to choose a secondary user for their digital payments. Whom they trust. With this feature, the primary user will be able to hand over the responsibility of payment to the secondary user.
With the feature, the UPI user will be primary and he will be able to add his trusted secondary user to his app. The primary user will give authority to the secondary user so that he can make payment keeping in mind the limit.
UPI Circle feature will work with two options - Full Delegation and Partial Delegation
Full Delegation - With the Full Delegation option, the secondary user will get permission to start and complete the transaction with a fixed limit.
Partial Delegation - With the Partial Delegation option, the secondary user will only be able to start a transaction. The transaction will be completed by the primary user, for which he will use the UPI PIN.
National Payment Corporation of India says that for this, members will also have to keep in mind some rules -
A primary user can add a maximum of 5 users as secondary users.
There will be a limit of Rs 5000 for each transaction. This limit will be up to Rs 15000 monthly.
Passcode and biometric information will be necessary for the secondary user with UPI apps.
