Mikayla, 20, started her career as an ice hockey goaltender. Her playing style was very good.

Growing up in Woodbridge, Canada, Mikayla Demaiter was interested in ice hockey as a child, playing for the Blue Water Hawks in the local women's hockey league.

But, almost every sportsperson has to deal with one injury or the other, and that was the case with Demeter. She retired from ice hockey after knee surgery.

On Instagram, she shared information about her sports retirement and retired from the game at the age of just 19.
