In such a situation, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has given instructions to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those who died due to lightning at various places in the state.

According to media reports, the CM has consoled the people who lost their family members due to this natural disaster. Besides, instructions have been given to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those who died and to provide proper assistance and treatment to the injured as per rules.

As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, an assistance of Rs 4 lakh each will be provided to the families of the deceased by the Disaster Management and Relief Department through the District Collectors and an assistance of Rs 1 lakh each will be provided from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
