There is good news for KL Rahul fans ahead of the Indian team's West Indies tour next month. The news is that India's senior batsman Lokesh Rahul has started his preparations to return to cricket after recovering from a thigh injury.

KL Rahul has now arrived at the National Cricket Academy here for an extensive rehabilitation program with hopes of making a comeback during the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka in September ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup.

Rahul, who captained Lucknow Super Giants, was injured in IPL 16. Due to this injury, he had to be ruled out of the IPL as well as the World Test Championship final. He then underwent thigh surgery.
