However, not every time you have access to an ATM machine. So how can you check your bank balance? You will be able to check your balance through many UPI apps.

In 2016, the Government of India announced the Unified Payments Interface, or UPI, which made the entire banking process faster, and today, checking bank account balances is easier than ever.

Thanks to UPI, we saw a growth in payment apps like Google Pay, Phone, and Paytm in India.

With all this, common people got benefitted and now, not only cities but many villages have also started using the above-mentioned UPI app. However, still many people do not know how to check their bank balance in these apps on their phones.

In this article, we will tell you how you can check your bank account balance in seconds. First, make sure you are logged in to these apps using your phone number. Once you are done and have added your banks, follow the steps given below.

Check Bank Account Balance on Google Pay

Step 1: Open Google Pay on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and tap on the option 'Check Bank Balance'.

Step 3: If you have saved more than one bank then select the bank for which you want to check your balance and enter your UPI PIN and tap on submit button.

Check Bank Account Balance on PhonePe

Step 1: Open PhonePe on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: Now on the homepage, tap on the 'Check Bank Balance' option under the Money Transfer tab.

Step 3: If you have saved more than one bank then select the bank for which you want to check your balance and enter your UPI PIN and tap on submit button.

Check bank account balance on Paytm

Step 1: Open Paytm on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: Tap on the Balance & History option, which should be on the homepage.

Step 3: Scroll down and see your listed banks. Tap on 'Check Balance'.

Step 4: Enter your UPI PIN and tap on the submit button.
