Bowling should be like this… the batsman did not have any clue, and the wicket flew away, will this pacer return to Team India?

A Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh this month. Team India has not been announced yet for this two-match series. The selection committee is currently focused on the Duleep Trophy, the first round of which began on Thursday, August 5. The team will be selected only after this round. In such a situation, a fast bowler has presented his claim in front of the selectors with his excellent performance on the very first day. This is fast bowler Akash Deep, playing for India A, who troubled the batsmen of India B. Especially one of his balls surprised everyone.

India A and India B were face to face in the Duleep Trophy match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The first day of the match belonged to India A's fast bowlers and India B's batsman Mushir Khan. India A's pace attack destroyed India B's top and middle order. Be it Team India's dashing batsmen like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant or domestic cricket's legendary batsmen like Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sarfaraz Khan, India A's fast bowlers did not give anyone a chance to survive.

For India-A, Avesh Khan, Akash Deep, and Khalil Ahmed took charge of the fast bowling, and all of them impressed on different occasions but the right-handed pacer Akash Deep caught the most attention. Akash Deep, a member of the Bengal Ranji team, initially troubled Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mushir Khan, and Ishwaran a lot but wickets did not come in his bag. Despite this, Akash did not compromise on his length and speed. He kept bowling on a tight line and finally, he got success - not one, but two, and that too on consecutive balls. Akash first trapped star batsman Rishabh Pant, who played the ball high in the air in an attempt to hit a big shot. India-A captain Shubman Gill took a stunning catch with a long dive while running backward from mid-off.

Gill's brilliant fielding played a big role in this wicket. But the next wicket was completely Akash's, which was like a dream for any fast bowler. The new batsman was Nitish Kumar Reddy and Akash's very first ball fell on the line of the middle stump, which Nitish tried to defend but the ball seamed from the pitch and while going out, blew away his off stump. Reddy did not understand anything but everyone else knew that he had become the victim of an extraordinary ball, on which he could hardly do anything. Overall, Akash bowled 18 overs on the first day, of which 6 were maidens. He spent only 26 runs and took 2 wickets.

This performance of Akash must have impressed the selectors, who are struggling to prepare Team India's pace attack for the Bangladesh series. Senior pacer Jaspreet Bumrah is unlikely to play in this series, while Mohammed Shami is out of this series. In such a situation, Mohammed Siraj will be the main fast bowler of the team and who will be the second pacer to support him, this question is on everyone's lips. Akash has staked his claim with this performance. Akash made his debut in the Ranchi Test against England this year and took 3 wickets while bowling in the same innings.
