Do this first
Removing bleach stains from clothes is not a big deal, but there are a few tips you need to follow before cleaning bleach stains. For example, soak the cloth which is stained with bleach in 1-2 litres of cold water and leave it for some time. This softens the bleach stain on the fabric, and the stain gets cleaned easily. Do not make the mistake of putting bleach-soaked clothes in water with other clothes.
Use baking soda
You must have used baking soda not once but many times for cooking or cleaning the house. In such a situation, let us tell you that by using it, you can easily clean the bleach stains on the clothes. Follow these steps for this-
- For this, put about 3-4 teaspoons of baking soda in 1 liter of cold water and mix it well.
- Now dip the bleach-stained parts in this mixture and leave it for about 15-20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, clean it with a cleaning brush or by rubbing it with your hands.
- After cleaning, wash the cloth with fresh water and squeeze the water and keep it in the sun.
- If the bleach stain doesn't come out in one go, you can repeat the process.
Use sodium thiosulfate
If you do not know about sodium thiosulfate, then let us tell you that it is such a thing that can be used to clean stubborn bleach stains in a few minutes. If it is not in your house then you can buy it from any shop. Follow these steps-
- First of all, add 2-3 spoons of sodium thiosulphate in 1-2 liters of water and mix it well.
- Now make this mixture slightly lukewarm.
- After making the mixture lukewarm, put on the cloth and leave it for some time.
- Let us tell you that it neutralizes bleach stains in a few minutes.
- After about 10 minutes, rub it with a cleaning brush and clean it.
- After cleaning the stain, wash it with fresh water and keep it in the sun.
Use vinegar or chlorine
The easiest and cheapest way to clean bleach stains from clothes like shirts, jeans, t-shirts, jackets, etc. is to use vinegar or chlorine. By using this, even the most stubborn stains get cleaned and the clothes do not smell in any way. This also keeps the cloth soft. Follow these steps-
- For this, add 2-3 spoons of vinegar or chlorine in 1 liter of water and mix it well.
- Now put the cloth in it and leave it for about 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, rub it with a cleaning brush and clean it.
- If the stain does not clear in one go, you can follow it again.
