Rice Samosa Recipe: If you are fond of eating samosas and do not mind trying new dishes, then rice samosa is a perfect recipe for you. You will like its different taste. Rice samosa is also very easy to make. It can be prepared and eaten at any time.
Ingredients to make Rice Samosa
Cooked rice - 1 cup
Flour - 1 cup
Butter – 1/2 tbsp
Chopped green onions - 1/4 cup
Chili sauce - 1 tsp
Oil - for frying
Desi ghee - 1 tsp
salt - as per taste
Rice Samosa Recipe
To make rice samosa, first, clean the rice and cook them in a cooker. After the rice is cooked, take them out in a vessel. After this, take a green onion and cut its white part and leaves into fine pieces. Now put all-purpose flour in the mixing bowl and add 1 spoon of melted desi ghee and mix it. After this add a pinch of salt to it and mix. Then add water little by little to the flour and knead a hard dough. After kneading the dough, cover it for 15 minutes and keep it aside.
Now put butter in a pan and heat it. After melting the butter, add finely chopped green onions and cook while stirring for about 1 minute. Then add cooked rice, chili sauce, and a little salt to it and mix. Cook the rice for 2 minutes while stirring with a big spoon. After this, turn off the gas and let the rice cool down. Stuffing is ready to be filled in samosas.
Now take refined flour and make balls out of it. After this, take a ball and roll it lengthwise, then cut it from the middle with the help of a knife. Now take one part and make it like a cone and after filling the stuffing in it, apply water on the upper edge and stick the samosa. Similarly, keep making samosas one by one and keep them separately on a plate.
After the samosas are made, put oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add samosas according to the capacity of the pan and deep fry them. Roast the samosas by turning them so that they get fried well from both sides. When the samosas become crispy and golden, take them out on a plate. Similarly deep fry all the samosas. Rice samosas are completely ready to eat. Serve them with green chutney or sauce.
