After the much-anticipated India-Pakistan encounter of the Asia Cup 2023 ended in disappointment, Team India fans are eagerly seeking answers as to how their beloved Men in Blue can qualify for the Super 4 stage. The current scenario dictates that Rohit Sharma and his team need to avoid defeat on Monday (September 4) to join Pakistan in the Super 4.

The India-Pakistan match was abandoned after a tight first-innings clash, which resulted in 1-1 points for both teams. While Babar Azam and his team have already secured their place in the Super 4 with 3 points, the Men in Blue have managed to collect only 1 point so far. So, if the India-Nepal game is also canceled, India will advance due to their 2 points, while Nepal will be left with only 1 point. Alternatively, if India manages to pull off a convincing win, they could potentially overtake Group A leaders Nepal, who suffered a crushing 238-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan in their opening match of the Asia Cup 2023. 

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the next encounter between the two teams after the first India-Pakistan clash ended in a draw. If India manages to beat Nepal on Monday (September 4), the Men in Blue are likely to once again take on Pakistan on the 10th.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf faced severe criticism for his aggressive dismissal of Ishan Kishan, with fans expressing their disapproval over Virat Kohli's decision to hug Rauf before the match.

Although India's top-order batsmen struggled, there were encouraging signs as Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya played crucial knocks to rescue the team from a precarious 66-4. However, the top four batsmen will have to regroup after being troubled by Shaheen Shah Afridi, who registered impressive figures of 10-2-35-4.
