There is no sign of the Indian team's head coach Gautam Gambhir's troubles ending. After losing the series, he is currently in Mumbai for the third Test and is thinking about averting the threat of whitewash from Team India. Meanwhile, a new trouble has befallen him. He was earlier accused of cheating flat buyers, in which he was also acquitted. But on 29 October, the Delhi court rejected the acquittal order. Not only this, the court has also ordered an inquiry about his role in this matter.

What is the whole matter?

According to a PTI report, the flat buyers had filed a fraud case against real estate firms Rudra Buildwell Realty Private Limited, HR Infracity Private Limited, UM Architecture and Contractors Limited, and Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir was a director and brand ambassador in the joint venture of all these companies. Special Judge Vishal Gogane, hearing the case, found that Gambhir was the only accused who had direct contact with the investors as a brand ambassador.

Apart from this, it was not made clear in the chargesheet whether Gambhir received any part of the fraud amount or not. Despite this, he was acquitted. This is the reason why they overturned the previous decision of the lower court and made the head coach of Team India an accused again. They have said in their decision that the lower court's decision did not mention his payment of Rs 6 crore to Rudra Buildwell Realty Private Limited and receipt of Rs 4.85 crore from the company.

The court also found that Gambhir had monetary transactions with the company beyond his role as brand ambassador. According to the court, Gambhir was an additional director from 29 June 2011 to 1 October 2013, i.e. this matter happened when he was associated with the company as an officer. Apart from this, transactions took place even after he resigned from the post on 11 October 2013. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate this.

Dispute between Rohit and Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir is under fire these days for Team India's performance. Meanwhile, a sensational claim has come to light. According to a news channel report, there has been a rift between Rohit and Gambhir before the third Test match between India and New Zealand starting on November 1 in Mumbai. There have been differences between the two regarding decision making in the team and the performance of the players. Not only this, it has also been claimed that there have been heated arguments between the two on some occasions.
