Nature of Maa Kushmanda

Story of Maa Kushmanda
According to the scriptures, when the universe was not created, then it had no existence. Because there was darkness all around. Then Maa Kushmanda created the universe with her that humour (smiling smile). That's why they are also called Adishakti of the universe. She was named Kushmanda because of the creation of the universe through a soft laugh.

Maa Kushmanda has so much power that she can live even in the circle of the Sun. Their abode is inside the solar system. Only Maa Kushmanda has the ability to live inside the sun world and all ten directions are illuminated by her radiance.
