Rohit Ganguly's record will be broken!
Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga holds the record for scoring the most runs as captain in ODI Asia Cup. Ranatunga has scored 594 runs in 13 matches. After him is Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly at number three.
Dhoni scored 579 runs in 14 matches as captain in the Asia Cup. Ganguly scored 400 runs in 9 matches in the Asia Cup as captain. Rohit Sharma is number four on this list, he has scored 317 runs in 5 matches so far in the Asia Cup as captain.
If Rohit scores 83 more runs, he will go past Ganguly. In this way, he will become the second Indian and third player overall to score the most runs as captain in the Asia Cup.
