He said that he did not mean to scare anyone, but wanted to create an environment where everyone works together. He stressed that the special thing about Amazon is that people work together, and this cannot happen by working remotely.

Some Amazon employees are not happy with this new rule. They say that coming to the office wastes time and many studies also do not show that working in the office is beneficial. Amazon has already implemented the rule of coming to the office 3 days a week. But now CEO Andy Jassy has said that from now on employees will have to come to the office 5 days a week. He says that this will bring collaboration and innovation in work.
